How do I create a user account?

Simply click on the person Icon in the top right of the screen. Enter your email in the Register form and click the Register button. 

 

You will then be sent an email so you can set up your unique password and you are good to go.

 

Top Tip: Make sure you are logged in before trying to book activities to save you time. (We do no not operate a guest checkout.

Why do I have to provide my child’s personal information when I make a booking?

Child activity suppliers will require certain information from you when you book your child on to their activities. This information is required to ensure the supplier provides a safe and enjoyable service. Requirements include, name, age, sex, additional requirements, allergies and permissions for photography and first aid. If the supplier requires additional information, they will ask for this separately.

Who has access to my child’s information?

Only the activity suppliers you have booked activities with will have access to your child’s information (which is held on your profile page under “child profile”). Each supplier should have their own procedures for keeping your child’s data secure. They will also be required to be registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office). If in doubt, please contact the activity supplier directly about this.

Why do you need parent/guardian details?

It is important to provide parent or guardian details so suppliers have an adult contact with emergency contact details.

My child is unable to attend an activity. How do I contact the activity provider?

In your user dashboard, go to the orders tab. This has a link to the activity supplier along with details of the activity. Click on the supplier name (link). This will take you to the suppliers page. There, you will find the “ask a question” button. This sends the supplier an email and also an internal message to their Activily dashboard.

How do I contact Activily?

You can use the contact us link on the footer of any page which opens a contact form. Or you can contact our dedicated support team at support@activily.co.uk

The activity I booked says pending. What does this mean?

Some suppliers set the booking criteria so they can confirm bookings that are made. If this is the case, your booking will show as pending until the supplier confirms it. You will then receive an email to show the booking is confirmed.

Are the payment methods I have stored on my user account secure?

Yes absolutely. Your payment details are stored directly with our payment gateway supplier - Stripe. For details of their data policies and security, visit: Stripe documentation

Who holds my credit/debit card details?

Stripe. Stripe is a payment gateway used by millions of consumers and businesses across the world to facilitate secure payments. They have the highest levels of financial data security. Activily do not hold any financial data.

Does it cost more for me to book activities through the activily website?

In a word, no!

 

Each of our suppliers has agreed to market their activity service for the same price as you are able to get by going to them directly. Sometimes we are able to achieve even better deals for users of activily as we help the supplier to reduce their cost, which means they can pass on their savings to you.
